Media Upload

The Media Upload section within Seller Central governs the management of visual assets attached to product listings. This includes core product images and supplementary media that directly influence how products are presented to customers.

Visual presentation is one of the most significant drivers of click-through rate and conversion on Amazon. Before customers read bullet points or A+ Content, they assess the main image. Strong imagery increases engagement, builds trust and differentiates products within competitive search results.

This category is critical because Amazon is a visually driven marketplace. Image quality, compliance with Amazon’s image guidelines and strategic use of visual storytelling all impact performance. Poor media execution can suppress listings, reduce click-through rate or weaken perceived value.

Image Uploading – Edit Access Required

Image Uploading allows authorised users to add, replace and manage product images directly within Seller Central. This includes main images, secondary lifestyle images, infographics and supporting visual content attached to individual ASINs.

High-quality imagery is one of the most important conversion drivers on Amazon. The main image influences click-through rate in search results, while secondary images communicate features, benefits and product details that drive purchasing decisions. Optimised visuals can materially increase engagement, improve perceived value and strengthen competitive positioning.

We require Edit-level access because uploading and replacing images must be executed directly within Seller Central. This includes assigning images to the correct image slots, updating assets during optimisation cycles and removing outdated or non-compliant content. View-only access does not allow us to implement visual improvements.

With this level of access, clients should expect:

  • Upload of high-resolution, Amazon-compliant product images
  • Implementation of conversion-focused visual strategies
  • Replacement of underperforming or outdated imagery
  • Alignment between image messaging and listing positioning
  • Ongoing optimisation during testing or rebranding stages
  • Monitoring of image impact on click-through and conversion rate
  • Client approval before major creative updates
